The way that people live in this modern day and age has them suspended in a state of constant motion. When you wake up in the morning, the first thing that you would want to do is brew yourself a hot, strong cup of coffee so that you can get going and seize the rest of your day by the scruff of its neck and have it do your bidding instead of dictating things based on random and arbitrary notions of what is correct. After you make your coffee, you would rush to shower and get dressed, drive as fast as you can to work after which you would spend hours just doing one thing after another.

It is important in this era of constant activity to take a step back and understand or at the very least recognize the value of waiting. Indeed, waiting is something that can be quite valuable in a wide range of scenarios once all has been said and is now out of the way. For example, chances are that you would need to wait if you have sprung for the best carpet cleaning which can often be quite expensive.

The reason behind this is that your carpet would require anywhere from twelve to thirty six hours to dry, otherwise it would get dirty again faster than might have been the case otherwise. Hence, the only thing that you can do here is to wait, and while you can occupy your time with various things the underlying activity that you are taking part in is waiting for your carpet to be dry enough that you can walk on it.
